Angela has a background in Science and Languages; has obtained Certification For Professional Training and subsequently specializes in Esthetics. She has participated in several training and refresher courses both nationally and internationally, however, it was a series of stints abroad that formed the foundation of Angela’s esthetics experience. She is an expert consultant for various, well-known companies, magazines and spa shows in the sector, and has founded and owned the Italian school of Esthetics “Milano Estetica” where she has served as the tutor of professional theory in Esthetics for the past 15 years. She currently serves as the Director of the Esthetic Division of Milano Estetica Cosmetic Surgery & Medical SPA and is the the Italian Director and European Coordinator of OTI’s Oncology Esthetics Foundation Training as well as the current President of ISFOE. Angela has been collaborating for the last 3 years as a volunteer with the project “Salute Allo Specchio” (Ospedale San Raffaele Milano Italia), offering safe esthetic treatments to oncology patients.
Angela Noviello has been working in the field of Esthetics for over two decades including owning and directing one of the most prestigious esthetic schools in Milan with her family for 10 years. She has also managed a Functional Esthetics, Esthetic Medicine and Plastic Surgery Center for 13 years with her brother Sergio, a Cosmetic Surgeon.
Since May 2013, she has served as the Director for Italy and European Coordinator for OTI Oncology Training International – Oncology Esthetics, the institution that trains and certifies, world-wide, esthetic practitioners authorized to work on cancer patients.
Angela was the first OE certified esthetician in Europe, flying to the U.S. to become acquainted with OTI founder Morag Currin and attend OTI training, examination and receive her certification, then bringing her new training and skills back to Italy. Keen on offering safe beauty treatments to her customers undergoing cancer therapy when they couldn’t take care of themselves, OTI training has allowed Angela to help them feel beautiful and rediscover their femininity which, unfortunately, treatments still tend to penalize with hair loss, pale skin, rashes, and other scars the disease leaves on the body and that are a constant reminder of their condition of sickness, leading to a loss of identity as women.
Back in Italy, Angela was involved in Salute allo Specchio, a wonderful project and exciting challenge with endless wonderful patients enthusiastic about the organizers and opportunity to include as many people as possible. This enthusiasm led to the creation of additional OTI training and certification courses specific to esthetics operators and nurses; training in competence and professionalism, beauty treatments for cancer patients and effective ongoing support.
Angela continues to play a fundamental role in bringing and expanding OTI OE courses to Europe, a method corroborated by scientific studies and relying on the constant support of pioneer and creator, Morag Currin, who she is also mentored by.
